Experience:

Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Proven ability to create content for social media with emphasis on Instagram and TikTok
- Experience with design and content creation tools such as Canva and the platforms’ in-app tools is a must
- Experience with other graphic design and/or video editing software (such as Adobe Creative Suite) is an asset
- Energetic individual who is comfortable engaging with students, staff, alumni, and other Ivey community members to create compelling content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who can work independentl
Responsibilities:
Do you have a knack for creating engaging content for social media using the latest tools and trends? Are you looking for an opportunity to flex your creative muscles? Ivey’s Communications Team is looking for an outgoing student who can help develop creative content for its 150,000+ social media followers. The successful candidate will create compelling posts, videos, and campaigns that tell the story of the Ivey experience. Their primary focus will be on Instagram and TikTok, however they should have knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter too.
The Communications Student will work closely with Ivey’s Social Content Manager to brainstorm, develop, execute, and measure social content and campaigns. The Communications Student will also work with the rest of Ivey’s Communications Team on other projects. Students with interest or career aspirations in marketing, communications, sales, and entrepreneurship will gain valuable experience through this opportunity. The successful candidate will also create tangible assets that can be added to their portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Create content for Ivey’s social media including video, images, graphics, and copy for Ivey’s corporate social accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter
- Provide live social coverage for School events
- Research social media best practices and make recommendations to the Communications team
- Assist the Communications Team with other projects including (but not limited to), Ivey News stories, media releases, research, and graphic design
