We have an exciting new opportunity for a Community Bank Manager with a flair for relationship development and leadership, to provide support to our Miranda branch. As an integral part of our NSW leadership team, you will be comfortable providing hands on management and lending service and support to our teams and customers.
About the Role
- Motivating, developing and inspiring a small team to achieve both branch and employee objectives
- Connecting in the community and building relationships with members by providing positive interactions and experiences both face to face and via our digital platforms
- Sourcing new opportunities and referrer arrangements
- Supporting small businesses
- Leveraging off IMB’s Financial Health Checks, striving to provide the right products that suit member needs through effective conversations and interviews
- Conducting both personal and home loans and managing the member experience from application through to settlement in compliance with NCCP and IMB requirements
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the branch ensuring legal, risk, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements are met
- Working collaboratively with the broader retail network team and all departments.
About You
- Preferably experience in banking and finance with experience in writing personal loans, business loans or home loans (further training can be provided)
- An impressive track record in leading people by building their capability through coaching, training, and implementing effective management techniques
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to proactively source new business opportunities across the local community
- The ability to manage branch operations in a highly regulated banking environment and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
