QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Community or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation (including video) and community development or event management.
Demonstrable experience recruiting and empowering community leaders or supporting regional initiatives.
Proven ability to create and manage content that engages and supports growth, including video production and copywriting.
Experience managing CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, MailChimp) and designing email marketing workflows.
Experience in content creation with a strong focus on video production, copywriting, and digital marketing communications.
Practical experience in building and growing groups or communities, particularly through targeted programmes or initiatives.
Hands-on experience in planning and facilitating both virtual and in-person events.
Experience using CRM tools to manage email workflows and optimise communication strategies.
Familiarity with the EdTech industry or similar communities is an advantage.
Basic understanding of coding or a strong interest in tech-related content is a plus.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As the Community Content & Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for shaping and driving a comprehensive strategy that combines both community-led and team-led content and engagement initiatives. Your role will focus on fostering a thriving, engaged community by producing high-quality content while empowering community leaders to create their own initiatives, host events, and contribute to the content ecosystem.
You will work closely with community leaders, facilitating and empowering them to organise and run their own groups, produce compelling content, and host engaging events. At the same time, you will take ownership of broader content creation, developing video, written content, and email campaigns that resonate with the community and align with its evolving needs.
The role is available hybrid in Dublin or remotely in Ireland.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Creation & Marketing Communications:

  • Produce engaging video content (e.g., webinars, tutorials, interviews, and event promotions) tailored to the needs of our community.

  • Develop high-quality copy for email campaigns, social media posts, blog articles, and event communications.
  • Manage and optimise email marketing workflows through CRM tools to ensure personalised and effective communication with community members.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with wider marketing and community approaches.

Community Building:

  • Recruiting and empower community leaders to create and manage their own initiatives and groups.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to community leaders, equipping them to grow initiatives, create content and organise and host events that align with the goals of the broader community.
  • Establish a scalable framework for community-led groups such as regional chapters, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall community strategy.
  • Work closely with community leaders to grow their initiatives and groups, fostering engagement both online and in-person through regular events and activities.

Event Organisation & Facilitation:

  • Plan, promote, and facilitate a variety of virtual and in-person events such as webinars, podcasts, and community meetups across key markets.
  • Act as a host and facilitator for online events, ensuring a welcoming and engaging experience for attendees.
  • Mentor and support regional community leaders in organising their own events, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with the overall community goals.

Community Engagement & Growth:

  • Foster strong relationships with community members and leaders to encourage participation and organic growth.
  • Support online discussions, forums, and other community spaces to keep engagement levels high and promote positive interaction.
  • Continuously adapt and improve the content and events strategy based on community feedback and evolving needs.
