We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Imaging team based at our brand-new Willesden- Wembley Community Diagnostic Centre. Full-time, running 37.5 hours across 5 days each week. This role will involve evening work from 4.00pm to 12:00am to support a new extended hour’s pilot study for 6 months. Once 6 months trial period is over you may be redeployed as a staff nurse within the trust (CXH, HH, SMH, or CDC). Due to the hours of this role, we are offering a taxi back to your place of residence or free secure car parking on site.
We are a friendly and supportive team, looking for highly motivated RNs who demonstrate a passion for delivering care to the local community. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the local community receive the highest quality of care at our state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre.
You will be working alongside a team of fabulous Radiographers, Imaging assistants, and admin and clerical staff to make sure that our patients receive the best care whilst visiting us. You will be the only nurse on duty, so an ability to be confident and work autonomously is essential.

The role will provide nursing support for the community diagnostic centres
Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to provide safe diagnostic service to patients undergoing diagnostic procedures at the community diagnostic centres.
Provide nursing advice to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/carers with supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in line with local and national targets.
To assess care ,implement and evaluate patients without supervision where necessary
To assist in leading and monitoring the performance of the junior members of the clinic team
To respond to patients, relatives and carers concerns as they arise and take remedial action as required.
To provide day-to-day nursing support of the service and manage the acutely unwell patient in the community setting
The post holder will be expected to travel, when necessary, to cover other community sites
