The Community Dietetics (Adults) team are looking for a newly qualified or current Band 5 Dietitian to work in our team. We are the largest Community Dietetics team in the South East with 35 clinicians.
We are committed to supporting graduates gain knowledge and confidence to develop as a Dietitian. You will start a preceptorship programme to provide you with the skills and knowledge required in the role. On completing the preceptorship, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills in an area of your choice including Gastroenterology, Diabetes, Weight Management, Nutrition Support or Neurology.
Our team includes supervision and support from our highly specialist clinical team – including our Gastroenterology dietitian, Obesity and Diabetes dietitian, Nutrition support /Prescribing Lead dietitian and Neuro dietitian.
Our team is supported by dietetic assistants and dietetic assistant practitioners and we are also supporting training for dietetic apprenticeships and dietetic students

Wellbeing is high on our agenda. To improve work-life balance we follow a hybrid working approach and offer flexible working opportunities. Our Health and Wellbeing champions provide regular updates, from money saving tips to meditation session’s, the team actively feedback on wellbeing and what would improve their work-life balance.

  • Supporting adults with common nutritional conditions including; Malnutrition, Diabetes, Obesity, IBS and Coeliac disease
  • Working in a variety of settings including; virtual clinics, home visits, community hospitals and care homes
  • Facilitating patient groups such as Type 2 Diabetes and Cardiac Rehab
  • Opportunities to engage in Quality Improvement projects
  • Supporting clinical triage processes

In addition to clinical work you will also have protected catch up time for administrative tasks, training and relevant CPD opportunities.
