OUR PURPOSE

North East Lincolnshire is one of only 20 places across the UK which is part of the Heritage Fund. Our ambition is to build the evidence, capacity and shared aspiration for NEL to generate and benefit from a range of heritage projects throughout the lifetime of the Heritage 2033 strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join our journey as a Community Engagement and Development Co-ordinator.

YOUR ROLE

Your role will provide support to empower organisations and services to develop strong heritage projects. You will be key in supporting stakeholders, enabling projects, and taking people on a journey from having a concept to the production through to the execution of the end project. Day to day, you will be collaborating with stakeholders to create programmes to highlight NEL’s heritage, to boost engagement. You will be telling stories through participative programmes, connecting, and initiating people to take action and support change.
You will be collating and analysing information to inform and aid decision making, performance and evaluation reporting across NEL as a Heritage place.
This post is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
