JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a qualified Community manager (Alumni Relations) to join our team.
Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and is able to develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
Ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand and manage all community communications.

• Strong attention to detail and exceptional project management skills
• Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills to influence and interact with C-level executives and business leaders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including networking skills with people at all levels internally and externally
• Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to produce results and outcomes
• Possesses the experience and skills to handle complex, high-risk items with minimal oversight
• Competent at judging when to consult or raise potential challenges to the next level of supervision
• the ability to execute strategy effectively; strong team player who is committed to working collaboratively, virtually and independently
• Efficient time management and prioritization skills are essential and extended hours are often required
• A minimum of 4+ years of marketing and communications or business development experience, and/or alumni relations experience preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree preferably
• Master’s degree is a plus
