Description:
As a Community Manager, you work as a part-time freelancer to cultivate healthy and dynamic player communities, by creating appealing and engaging content for social media platforms, with primary focus on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.
You create shorts, videos, images and memes that capture the players’ attention and help them understand and relate to our games in new, fulfilling ways. You also moderate your assigned social media and community channels, and assist in copywriting for key publications on Steam.
You’ll be working with deep, replayable games that prioritize substance over spectacle. You will have to excel at translating the complex experience of Paradox ARC titles to the snappy, exciting format of modern social media platforms.
In the New Games Team, we do not value perfection. We value effectiveness, and the type of social media content you produce will prioritize function and entertainment over technical quality and fidelity. We’re a scrappy crew of agile specialists and if you want to join us, be ready to react quickly, shift focus at a moment’s notice, and not linger on projects that are no longer impactful.
You report to the Community Specialist. In day-to-day operations, you work closely with game developers, and a team of marketing specialists to source and produce social media content.
