Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and coordinate care services, working with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide direct nursing care, managing individual cases and coordinating services to meet health needs.
- Lead shifts and coordinate team activities to ensure safe, effective patient care.
- Offer health promotion and education to patients, clients, and carers, improving health outcomes within the community.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring patient safety and optimal care standards.
- Support the development of nursing practice by guiding less experienced staff and students.
- Participate in research activities and apply evidence-based guidelines to enhance patient care.
