To document any therapeutic play interventions and outcomes, producing detailed reports for discussion with other professionals. To appropriately refer on to other agencies as necessary. To promote an awareness of the importance of play for children and their families liaising with members of the multi-disciplinary team throughout all establishments where there are children.
To liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to assist in the management of the child/young person and family attending child health clinics and other community groups. To participate in producing information leaflets and booklets for children and families in the community. To work with the multi agency team looking at referrals and identifying appropriate action. To work with the multi agency team to meet the agreed objectives of the project To have specialised skills in communicating with children and their families and interpret the same through the media of play.
