Description:

Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. Undertake assessment and review of patients on oxygen in the community and proficiently undertake blood gas monitoring as per guidelines. Supervise and support assistant staff, delegating work as appropriate Use education, support and counselling to promote a better understanding of respiratory conditions for patients, their families, carers and other agencies involved To communicate and work collaboratively with MDT to promote a co-ordinated service and support prevention of avoidable hospital admissions Attend and represent the Community Respiratory Team and service meetings, MDTs and any other meetings as required *DVLA have a number of reciprocal arrangements with overseas countries, for further information please visit the DVLA websit
