Job description
A great opportunity to join the Community Road Safety Team in Wiltshire Police supporting the efforts of our civilian Community Speed Enforcement Officers.
Although primarily based at Devizes Police Headquarters there will be opportunities for agile working on occasions.
The Administrator role is fundamental to the overall process in ensuring that all traffic cases are thoroughly investigated in accordance with both national and local standards and that targets are consistently met and legal requirements and Force Policy are adhered to in respect of all traffic files and related matters.
Preferably the successful applicant will have previous admin experience and worked under pressure therefore able to manage a number of their own caseloads and the ability to problem solve whilst using own initiative.
Being an effective communicator is also essential as the very nature of this role involves regular contact with a variety of individuals including court staff, police officers and members of the public. As well as being competent in the use of computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
You will be working as part of a small team so it’s important the successful candidate work both independently as a team to support one another so the team achieve its aims.
To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year ‘checkable history’ in the UK – this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
