ABOUT THE ROLE:
John Holland’s Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Australia’s most complex projects, including the Black Hill to Tomago M1, Gold Coast Light Rail, and Upper South Creek Advanced Water Recycling Centre. Due to industry expansion, the John Holland Infrastructure business is currently seeking a Community & Stakeholder Manager for an upcoming $450m Water Infrastructure project in regional NSW.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders including community, businesses, and other stakeholders to support delivery of the project
- Provide advice and assistance to the community and where required face to face meetings regarding specific issues
- Maintain the Consultation Manager database and generate reports as required
- Work within an integrated team to deliver on communications, stakeholder and community management issues
- Provide strategic advice to the projects senior leadership team on communications, stakeholder and community management
- Support the 24 hour on call requirements of the project
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS KEY ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, ie Public Relations, Marketing
- Minimum 4 years experience / 2 years in community relations and stakeholder engagement in a complex environment
- Corporate communications and marketing experience including social media, print publications, design messaging and branding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
