COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER - RESIDENTIAL
16 hours per week
$23.38 - 29.10 per hour
west Auckland location
At Spectrum Care, we provide support for adults with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to live great lives.
Based at our San Merino House in Henderson the role provides support to 4 ladies in the 50+ age range. They have hearing impediments so, if you know NZ sign language it will be definitely be an advantage. These ladies love a good citrus cake and so you will often find the smell of beautiful baked cakes wafting through the house.

- Ability to remain calm, and calming, in all situations
- Resilience to help people keep boundaries to ensure their safety
- Good at explaining and negotiating
- Ability to communicate effectively and supportively with family, colleagues and the person you support
- Ability and willingness to provide support and motivation with personal cares and daily living skills
