ABOUT US:

Fur Life Vet Bunbury (Harradine and Associates Veterinary Surgeons) has an exciting opportunity for a small animal vet to join our established hospital and team.
Our hospital has been locally operated for over 5o years and is an important part of the local community. We have a great team of vets and nurses and a great client base. We aim to provide a high standard of medical and surgical knowledge and treatment to our patients in a friendly, compassionate hospital environment.
Fur Life Vet Bunbury consists of our companion animal hospital and equine hospital. Our companion animal hospital in Bunbury is a large purpose-built veterinary hospital with all the expected modern equipment including DR radiography, in house laboratory, im3 dental gear and x-ray, endoscopes, ultrasound and orthopaedic equipment. We also have a nearby branch clinic in Dalyellup.
Bunbury is a large regional coastal city without the Perth hustle and bustle but only 2 hours away from all the capital city services. We have fantastic schools to choose from, good retail, entertainment, and sporting facilities. For those who appreciate wine and gourmet produce, we are within easy reach of the Margaret River region.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Companion Animal Veterinarian
• We are looking for an experienced vet to join the team but new and recent graduates are welcome to apply
• Opportunity to improve orthopaedic surgical skills under the tuition of an experienced vet
• Full time position with a 4-day work week or Part time position and flexible work arrangements around your requirements.
• No weekend on call. Only 1 weeknight per fortnight on call. Great after hours pay.
• A strong support team working across our main hospital and smaller branch clinic.
• Our vets have special interests in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, avian medicine, alternate therapies and rehab therapy. We receive referrals in these fields from surrounding clinics. We cover most work in clinic but have the option of referral to Perth if required.
