Description:

The Corporate Governance and the Fund Operations team are primarily responsible for all corporate matters within the structure of cross-border investing funds as well as group companies. This role forms part of a team of company secretaries who are embedded in, and work closely with, global Macquarie Asset Management Estate legal and specialist teams.

What role will you play?

As part of this team you will work closely with internal and external teams such as Group administration, Fund Management, Portfolio Management, Legal (internal) and lawyers (external). Your responsibilities will include, supporting the incorporation and acquisition of companies along with, assisting with dispositions or liquidation of companies, implementation of any changes in the board of directors, coordinating seat changes or address changes of companies, handling the adoption of resolutions, monitoring / coordinating and reporting all corporate changes to the commercial and transparency register, implementing processes and securing the process flows and ownership, administration and maintenance of corporate data in our database.

You will be driven and self-motivated, degree educated, preferably in law, business administration, economics or real estate, with some 4-5 years of experience as a company secretary along with an understanding of, and interest in, corporate administration, financial services/domiciliation. You will be fluent in English in addition to German with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders both within and outside Macquarie at all seniority levels. You will have advanced skills on MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat, be highly organised and resourceful with the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
