Description:

Our client is a fast-growing company looking for a driven, tech-savvy Executive Assistant who is passionate about growth, both personally and professionally. This role offers the opportunity to learn about business operations while contributing to the growth and efficiency of the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Experience handling email correspondence and responding to client inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and initiative to learn—must be tech-focused, with a keen interest in developing new skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in running their own venture (even if not successful) or a strong interest in entrepreneurship.
  • Willingness to work longer hours when needed, with appropriate compensation.
  • Hungry for growth, both in business acumen and personal development, with a demonstrated history of self-driven learning through courses, training, or personal projects.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Accounting Software: Experience with invoicing and basic book keeping
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for handling inquiries.
  • Tech-Savvy: Eagerness to adopt new technologies and improve processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative thinking and the ability to proactively identify challenges and propose solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to email inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication with leads and clients.
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks, including the creation and sending of invoices, along with other accounting-related duties.
  • Utilize accounting software to track expenses, prepare reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support the MD in various administrative tasks and special projects.
  • Organize and manage the MD’s calendar, ensuring meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements are efficiently handled.
  • Demonstrate initiative by identifying ways to streamline operations and improve processes.
  • Assist with internal and external communication, ensuring key messages are delivered appropriately.
  • Track key deliverables and deadlines for the MD, assisting in prioritization and follow-ups.
