THE ROLE:

Company Trainer working alongside the National Compliance Manager. The role offered is a full-time position based in Christchurch. This role is suitable for a person who has worked in a similar position before with some experience supporting and managing people. This role involves travel between our Christchurch and Auckland base.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete all pre-employment driving assessments to ensure employees are qualified and skilled before they are employed in the business.
• Current clean licence
• Provide training and guidance on all safety protocols, policies, and SOPS, to ensure drivers are trained and compliant. T
• Ensure all drivers are completing daily checks of their vehicle including oil, water, fuel, air pressure, safety concerns and equipment security, Road User Charge Licence, Hub odometer readings etc to ensure that it is in a safe and legally compliant state.
• Ensure drivers understand all relevant transport regulations, including weight limits, hours of service and rest breaks.
• Observe driving skills and perform practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.
• Always keep customers’ focus front of mind to ensure we deliver our key values and vision.
• Promote and role model our values including good practices, high standards and behaviour
• Keep us informed on any areas that require improvement.
