Description:

Serves as the budget coordinator and primary data analyst for U.S. Corporate Vehicles (CV) Operations. Creates ad hoc reporting and data analytics dashboards for the CV. Provides financial performance analysis for monthly financial reviews. Identifies and proposes immediate and long-term changes to CV programs and policies to drive meaningful improvements and innovation based on financial and program data analysis. Reviews, processes, or approves daily transactions or requests for analysis as needed. Supports other CV initiatives affecting the organization as requested.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Three or more years of professional level experience to include finance related functions and data analytics.
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, and/or related discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent analytic, presentation, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline, and detail-driven environment.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Economics, Accounting.
Languages
Advance or Upper intermediate English level.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison between Corporate Vehicles and both NMAC and NNA Finance. Assists CV Managers with the development of annual OPEX and CAPEX budget plans and forecasts as requested by Finance. Handles all month-end close activities including monthly accrual preparation, intercompany billings, departmental re-class journal entries, and dealer related CV transactions. Supervises the submission of all Payroll related CV files/transactions.
  • Provides financial performance analysis for monthly Corporate Vehicle financial reviews. Develops necessary documentation to support expenditure requests, submits shopping baskets, and ensures purchase orders are issued in a timely manner. Understands basic accounting rules to ensure that operational invoices are properly coded and provides guidance to ensure expenditures are properly classified.
  • Develops ad hoc and standard reporting as requested by the Corporate Vehicles leadership team. Creates standard dashboards to be utilized by all levels of management to create a better understanding of CV Financials, Operations, and Customer Satisfaction. Able to interpret the data in a meaningful way for understanding outside immediate department.
  • Works closely with CV management team on ad hoc projects and helps maintain close cohesive working relationship with the chosen partners and internal Nissan/Infiniti operations departments (including, but not limited to - Payroll, Tax, Risk Management, Vehicle Operations, Legal, Accounting) through continuous communication/collaboration to identify and determine appropriate workloads. Suggests system updates for improved efficiency.
  • Assists in testing, troubleshooting, and providing training on the CV Fleet Management System and ensure that it meets the needs of the organization.
  • Supports and leads CV Point of Sale and Fuel Card programs by managing customer issues, performing detailed audits, and quality assurance checks. Recommends strategies to resolve operational issues.
  • As necessary, provides additional and other related financial planning and analysis support as needed.
