REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including some advanced features.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS CONSIDERED

  • Experience in human resources, accounting, business administration of financial analysis.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate administrative and staff positions in the university’s classification and compensation programs, in accordance with HR departmental goals and in compliance with related rules and regulations.
  • Approve personnel change requests (PCR) from business units via HRIS system. Maintain HR systems, evaluate and make recommendations.
  • Initiate correspondence and respond to inquiries regarding classification recommendations. Develop and revise job descriptions/classification specifications.
  • Assist university offices with implementation of staff reorganizations. Conduct salary equity and reclassification determinations.
  • Respond to compensation surveys; conduct salary survey/job market research and summarize results.
  • Conduct periodic audits to ensure that job data is accurate and up to date. Assist with researching pay issues.
  • Maintain and update the Compensation site on Bearcats Landing. Draft content, as requested.
  • Manage and coordinate the HR Compensation mailbox.
