Description:

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Compensation Analyst in Altamonte Springs, Florida. This role is within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry, where you will be supporting the Compensation function. As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting job analysis, job evaluation, and assisting in compensation surveys.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct job pricing using compensation best practices to formulate recommendations for pay grade placement.
  • Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine appropriate exempt or non-exempt assignment in accordance with federal regulations.
  • Carry out audits for the purpose of data clean-up and standardization.
  • Assist in reviewing and editing job descriptions for accuracy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company-wide policies and best practices in other organizations.
  • Participate in corporate salary survey preparations.
  • Assist with annual market adjustment; load and update compensation data.
  • Analyze the impact of new programs or changes to programs, preparing reports that indicate differences and potential impacts.
  • Serve as an information source regarding pay practices and policies; provide advice to leadership on new compensation decisions for employees, policy interpretation, and job evaluation.
  • Maintain documentation of all activities related to compensation.
  • Possess experience working with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems
  • Familiarity with auditing practices
  • Knowledge of benefit functions, claim administration, and Cobra administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in compensation and benefits in the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Understanding of labor laws and compensation policies
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive manner.
