Description:
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Compensation Analyst in the HR industry based in Bridgewater, New Jersey. As a Compensation Analyst, you will be tasked with performing data analysis on compensation packages, conducting market research, and making recommendations to ensure competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry standards and trends related to compensation
- Analyze and interpret compensation data to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Recommend salary ranges and total compensation packages based on data analysis and market research
- Develop and maintain job descriptions and job classifications to ensure fair and consistent compensation practices
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to align compensation recommendations with business needs and goals
- Prepare and present reports on compensation trends and data to senior management and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to compensation practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to compensation practices
- Utilize your skills in Compensation & Benefits and Compensation Analysis to enhance the performance of your role
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits analysis
- Proficiency in Compensation Analysis techniques and strategies
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use HRIS and Compensation Management systems
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
