In MFT Energy we trade energy to make markets efficient and to facilitate the green transition. We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Controller to join our ambitious Finance team with experienced colleagues, who strive to deliver the best possible service to its global stakeholders.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL SKILLS

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Controller who is independent, proactive, and service-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality and timely results. Your key responsibility will be to gather and integrate all the necessary information throughout the month, playing a vital role in the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our salary processes. More specifically, we imagine that you have:

  • Relevant educational background.
  • Proven experience working with global payroll procedures.
  • Knowledge of best practice payroll procedures and tax regulations is required, whereas knowledge of Danish (and international) employment law is an advantage.
  • Experience with Excel is a requirement, experience with Zenegy is a plus.
  • Experience dealing with a global workforce is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and structure your workload.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English.

Responsibilities:

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process monthly payrolls for all employees, ensuring accuracy and global compliance.
  • Payroll-related tasks such as bonus calculations, applying for reimbursements, and administration of benefits.
  • Maintain and update the salary process, and ensure it is as automated as possible.
  • Ensure payroll audit controls and formalized processes are in place.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes and any audit-related matters.
  • Handle payroll-related inquiries from colleagues, e.g., guidance in holiday balances/registrations.
  • Update data in relation to parental leave, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Onboarding of new payroll solutions around the world.
  • Assist with visa applications.
  • Collaborate with People Operations to ensure optimal on- and offboarding processes as well as maintaining accurate master data.
  • Collaborate with Legal in relation to e.g. employment related matters and interpretation of various policies.
    The role will evolve as MFT Energy evolves and depending on your specific experience and qualifications.
