Responsibilities:

As Sephora continues to explore new heights and expand our presence in the UK, we’re on the lookout for a Compensation, Benefits & HR Governance Manager to join our Sephora UK HR team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate with the HR Director and business leaders to elevate our employee experience by implementing best-in-class HR systems and governance policies. Your work will ensure that our compensation and benefits offerings are competitive, fair, and reflective of our commitment to placing people at the heart of everything we do.
In this role, you’ll lead to key initiatives across compensation, benefits, and HR governance, playing an active role in both strategy and implementation. You’ll lead the development and execution of compensation strategies, ensuring that our pay structures are competitive and equitable. Your work will involve conducting in-depth market analyses, managing job architecture and position evaluations, and overseeing the annual compensation review process. Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in HR controlling and analytics, monitoring key metrics, and driving process improvements. Your expertise will also be essential in ensuring compliance with global and local regulations, managing payroll changes, and supporting international mobility processes.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Developing and executing compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
  • Conducting comprehensive market analyses to ensure competitive pay structures and equitable practices.
  • Managing job architecture and position evaluations, ensuring transparency and fairness in compensation proposals.
  • Leading the annual individual compensation review process, including salary reviews, bonuses, and commission schemes.
  • Overseeing HR controlling and analytics, monitoring key HR metrics, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensuring compliance with local compensation regulations and Sephora’s global policies.
  • Managing payroll compensation changes and ensuring accuracy throughout the year, in collaboration with the Payroll Specialist.
  • Leading or supporting ad-hoc projects as required, contributing to Sephora’s people strategy.
