Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Compensation Consultant within a Line of Business Compensation team of our Total Rewards function within Human Resources. This position will play a critical role supporting compensation programs that align with business objectives, enterprise behavioral expectations and key performance indicators. This is an exciting opportunity to join the compensation function where you will provide solutions and recommendations in alignment with enterprise Human Resources goals.
In this role, you will:
- Participate on cross-functional teams to plan and execute compensation initiatives to propel business results and performance.
- Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of compensation policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives.
- Collaborate and consult with partners in Total Rewards, Human Resources, or cross-functional business partners to resolve issues and achieve goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics.
- Build sustainable processes, controls, and metrics to effectively support compensation organization.
- Review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Perform compensation analysis including, but not limited to modeling pay strategies and forecasting outcomes.
- Develop presentations and business communications for all levels of professionals and managers companywide.
