JOB SUMMARY:

The Compensation Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s compensation programs, including salary structures and incentive plans. This role ensures that compensation practices are competitive, fair, motivational, and aligned with the organization’s strategic goals. The Compensation Manager will conduct market research, analyze compensation data, and implement policies to attract and retain top talent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation management or a related field.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing compensation strategies and plans.
  • Skills:
  • Ability to understand the organization’s business model and align compensation strategies with business goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of budgeting and financial analysis.

    Responsibilities:

    • Compensation Strategy Development:
    • Design and implement comprehensive compensation strategies that align with organizational objectives.
    • Develop and maintain salary structures, job classifications, and pay scales.
    • Performance Management Support:
    • Collaborate with management to develop and maintain compensation programs and individual plans with performance management systems.
    • Budget Management:
    • Work with the finance department to manage the compensation budget.
    • Ensure compensation practices are cost-effective and within budget.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for senior management.
    • Provide recommendations based on data analysis and research.
    • Employee Communication:
    • Communicate compensation policies and procedures to employees and management.
    • Address employee inquiries regarding compensation matters.
    • Training and Development:
    • Provide training to HR staff and management on compensation-related topics.
    • Stay current with compensation trends and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
    • Market Analysis:
    • Benchmark company compensation against industry standards and trends.
    • Policy and Procedure Management:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain compensation policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
