Salary: USD $80,000.00/Yr.
Description and Responsibilities:

As the Compensation Manager at Open Sky, you will:

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies that align with the agency’s compensation philosophy, goals and market trends.
  • Oversee the administration of salary band structures, pay grades, and bonus programs.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Conduct job evaluations and analyses to determine appropriate salary levels for new position creation, and adjustments to existing positions.
  • Manage the annual compensation review process, including salary increases, justifications and documenting decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation metrics and trends to leadership.
  • Provide appropriate guidance and support to employees and managers on compensation-related issues, questions and communications.

Note: This position does have some hybrid flexibility if desired, but is not fully remote. The first few months will be mostly in-office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in compensation, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is desirable, but not necessary. Please apply even if you don’t have certification.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency and comfort with compensation analysis tools, Excel, and other typical business office productivity and communication software.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
