Join the Human Resources team that plays a critical role in driving the employee experience, shaping the firm’s culture and building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
As a Compensation Operations & Governance Manager - Vice President within Central Compensation Operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing key compensation operational processes. As a Subject Matter expert you will provide leadership and guidance to Line and HR managers on all compensation matters, including the impact of regulatory changes on our processes. You will demonstrate your strategic thinker skills with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in compensation within the financial services industry.
Job responsibilities
- Project Management: Partner with global and regional colleagues to manage compensation initiatives; including policy reviews, changes in compensation practices, and system enhancements from conception to completion
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure operational processes comply with local and international regulatory requirements. Work closely with the Regulatory Compensation team to assess changes to the regulatory landscape and provide expert advice to management on the impact they may have on our processes. As needed, prepare and submit regulatory and tax filing reports related to compensation
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with HRBAs, Talent Acquisition and other key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of compensation practices with overall HR strategies. Leverage technical and relationship management skills to create, sustain and enhance interaction and influence with HR and lines of business
- Process Improvement: Actively drive focus on standardisation, centralization and optimization of processes while ensuring robust controls are maintained
- Leadership: Work closely with the EMEA Compensation Operations team in Warsaw to ensure seamless delivery on EMEA Compensation operational processes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Substantial experience within Operations in: Compensation / Human Resources / Finance
- In depth knowledge of EMEA regulatory, legal and compensation practices
- Governance & Controls mindset, Process improvements, Project Management and Team building proven experience
- Ability to manage several projects and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong technical knowledge and experience working with Excel and PowerPoint is a critical
- Self-starting, high energy, trusted, and experienced advisor on compensation related matters
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills
