Location: Remote (St. John’s and surrounding areas for site & vendor collaborations)
Job Type: Freelance, hourly (10-20 hours per week), with opportunity to transition to full-time, salaried position once business(es) are operational. Monday to Friday, flexible hours within 7 AM - 5 PM.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Complete Care Pharmasave is seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Operations Manager to join their team. The goal of this position is to support the launch of new ventures in the St. John’s area, transitioning to a role of managing the day-to-day operations of those ventures. The ideal candidate will be professional, personable, and experienced in executive, medical or pharmacy administration. This is a remote position, but the candidate must be located in St. John’s or the surrounding areas for site and vendor collaborations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience: Proven experience in medical, pharmacy, or executive office administration.
  • Bookkeeping: Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Social Media: Experience in social media management and advertising.
  • Graphic Design: Ability to perform light graphic design tasks.
  • Event Planning and Logistics: Experience in event planning and logistics, or an interest in the same, is a strong asset.
  • HR Management: Basic understanding of HR practices related to day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operational setup and daily management of business activities.
  • Assist with the administration and operational tasks for an established pharmacy.
  • Coordinate with vendors, site collaborators, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations and confer with them to ensure superior services at a minimal cost.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office for documentation and collaboration.
  • Conduct virtual meetings via Teams and Zoom.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage social media development and oversight.
  • Handle advertising and hiring for staff.
  • Perform light graphic design tasks as needed.
  • Be open and engaged in the use of technology and apps to support optimization and automation of business processes.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the business owner.
  • Manage day-to-day HR activities such as leave requests, sourcing locums, and scheduling.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue generation, identifying areas for cost-efficiency and improvement.
