Description:

This is a great opportunity for someone to use their lived experience of CEN related difficulties in South Westminster Community Mental Health Hubs. The role would involve both clinical work and consultation within the Hubs under the CEN Pathway team in Westminster to support the ongoing development of the CEN Pathway.
This post has been developed specifically for people who have a lived experience of recovering from distress which has been understood or diagnosed as ‘personality disorder’ and who have worked for a substantial period as peer workers or lived experience practitioners in systems specific to ‘personality disorder’. Through sharing wisdom and insights from their own experiences, paired with a sophisticated understanding of the theory pertinent to ‘personality disorder’, the Lived Experience Practitioner will consult to colleagues and hold a small caseload, inspiring hope and belief that recovery is possible.
The successful applicant may have contact with patients or service users. As an NHS Trust we strongly encourage and support vaccination as this remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients and service users when working on our healthcare settings.
