BOOKMARK EDUCATION ARE WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A SPECIALIST SEND SCHOOL IN THE CHADDERTON AREA OF OLDHAM; SLT ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WHO HAVE A STRONG BACKGROUND IN SUPPORTING CHILDREN / ADULTS WITH COMPLEX NEEDS TO WORK WITH THEM FULL TIME SUPPORTING THEIR PUPILS TO ACHIEVE THIER TRUE POTENTIAL AT SCHOOL.

The school is a a welcoming multi site SEND school which caters for pupils with complex needs including SEMH, ASD and PMLD aged 11-19. Ideal candidates to work in this school but have experience supporting children or adults with SEND, be confident supporting very challenging behaviours and providing the support needed to support their development, sensory needs and ensuring they are safe in school.
The school is well resourced to provide an enriched learning pathway for all their learners. Some students exhibit very challenging behaviours and as such training in Team-Teach, MAPA etc are welcomed but are not essential.
To be considered for this role you must:
*Have experience supporting SEND children / adults
*Be confident supporting behaviours that challenge
* Have a resilient but nurturing personality
*Be committed to ensuring all children are valued and can access provisions and feel safe
The role is to start ASAP and will likely be for the duration of the academic year, with the opportunity to apply for permanent roles there. The working hours are 08.30 to 15:45 each day, Mon to Friday term time only.
