Description:

You’ll work with Risk colleagues, as well as key Legal, Compliance, and Business partners, in delivering a risk management program. The role includes enhancing standards around risk assurance and controls testing activities, including prioritisation, annual planning, development of testing scope, testing of controls, and reporting of testing results.

  • A good understanding of risk, governance and control frameworks with experience in risk assurance and testing and associated control remediation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build great working relationships with stakeholders, as well as keep an eye on the customer at all times
  • Understanding of regulatory and operational risk management, internal controls, and root cause analysis, you’ll be highly organised and structured in your working
  • Previous work experience in risk management - gaming experience is preferable.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assisting in the execution of the testing required as part of the annual assurance programme
  • Enhancing standards and risk management best practices around risk assurance and controls testing
  • Documenting findings/recommendations, agree responses with the area under review and present the findings/recommendations as part of the assurance report. Collaborating on relevant risk assessments with risk colleagues to drive a best-in-class risk management program
  • Recording all recommendations and actions resulting from reviews undertaken and actively pursue these until resolution.
  • Identifying trends and root causes in all breaches and shortcomings; taking action and working collaboratively with line management to make relevant changes to to policies, procedures and working practices
  • Reviewing and critically appraising evidence presented in support of proposed action closure
  • Presenting directly to senior management on the results of the above efforts
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the wider team as required.
