Description:

We have an opportunity for a Safety Compliance Assistant, this role will assist and support in the delivery of the effective running of Community Housing’s Gas, Electric & Lift safety in accordance with regulatory undertakings to ensure all controls are fully compliant and reduces any residual risk to customers, employees, and third parties.
The role will provide clerical and administrative support to the Building Safety Compliance Team and assist in achieving the Company’s objective of 100% legal and regulatory compliance in all cyclical servicing and maintenance requirements.

We are looking for an individual with the following:

  • IT skills – Microsoft office to intermediate level
  • Keyboard skills and experience of working with computer systems
  • Interpersonal skills which enable you to deal with colleagues in other sections and other organisations
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Organised and efficient administration skills
  • Ability to work on own as directed and have a systematic approach to organising own workload in accordance with policies or priorities.
  • Be able to deal with enquiries from customers in a sympathetic and tactful manner.
  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Good standards of general education, including written English and Math’s
