ABOUT THE ROLE:

Compare the Market is on the lookout for an exceptional Compliance Assurance Manager to become an integral part of our dynamic Compliance, Legal and Risk team situated in Toowong. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide leadership and strategic guidance on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards across our core verticals.
As a critical member of the team, you will bring expertise in governance, advisory, assurance, and reporting disciplines. Your contributions will make a meaningful and positive impact on our people, partners, and customers, as you navigate complex compliance challenges and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Contribute to the strategic thinking and delivery of CTM’s organisational goals and targets.
  • Ensure compliance effectively partners with the business in decision-making and strategic growth.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture with a focus on exceptional compliance capabilities and continuous improvement.
  • Align compliance objectives and performance measures with CTM strategy and vertical deliverables.
  • Enhance the build, delivery, and embedding of a CTM 3LoD model, including supporting a capability uplift in the 1LoD.
  • Develop compliance processes, procedures, and methodologies that align with known frameworks and practices.
  • Design and produce data-driven and insightful reporting for the CTM business and leadership team.
  • Plan, develop, and execute monitoring in line with a defined 2LoD Monitoring Calendar reflecting critical obligations and assurance outcomes.
  • Plan, develop, and execute thematic reviews in line with a defined 2LoD Assurance Plan.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across policy, process, and systems.
  • Support the management of critical business and staff training and competencies.
  • Ensure all staff remain adequately trained and competent to perform their roles effectively.
