ABOUT THE ROLE:

Compare the Market is on the lookout for an exceptional Compliance Assurance Officer to become an integral part of our dynamic Compliance, Legal and Risk team situated in Toowong. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide leadership and strategic guidance on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards across our core verticals.
As a critical member of the team, you will bring expertise in governance, advisory, assurance, and reporting disciplines. Your contributions will make a meaningful and positive impact on our people, partners, and customers, as you navigate complex compliance challenges and ensure regulatory compliance across the organisation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Ensure that compliance is effectively partnering with business in decision making and the delivery of their strategic growth agenda.
- Enhance the build, delivery and embedding of a CTM 3LoD model, including supporting a capability uplift across the 1LoD.
- Develop compliance processes, procedures and methodologies that support known frameworks and practices.
- Contribute to the design and production of data driven and insightful reporting for both the CTM business and extended leadership team.
- Support the plannng, development and execution of monitoring in line with a defined 2LoD Monitoring Calendar that reflects critical obligations and assurance outcomes.
- Lead the plannng, development and execution of thematic reviews in line with a defined 2LoD Assurance Plan.
- Support the business in the identification of continuous improvement opportunities across policy, process and systems.
