In the heart of our Compliance Department, the Conduct Risk & Assurance Compliance Officer You’ll support the second-line team across all conduct-related aspects. You’ll advise the business on conduct risk for products, communications, and customer interactions, ensuring fair treatment, ethical practices and meeting the requirements of Consumer Duty standards. Strong knowledge of UK regulations, excellent advisory skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management are essential. Key duties:
- Monitor and report on adherence to Consumer Duty principles, ensuring customer-centric practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure business practices meet regulatory obligations and minimise risk.
- Monitor adherence to fair treatment of customers and transparency in communications.
- Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory developments, guidelines, and legislation to ensure the Kroo’s practices remain compliant. Provide expert advice on the implications of regulatory changes and oversee the implementation of necessary adjustments.
- Proactively identify potential conduct risks arising from business activities, products, or processes. Oversee implementation of effective mitigation strategies to prevent customer detriment and ensure market integrity.
- Lead targeted assurance activities and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of controls in managing conduct risk. Identify areas for improvement and oversee the implementation of corrective actions.
- Craft clear and effective policies and procedures related to conduct risk management. Ensure these are communicated and embedded across the organisation, fostering a culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various internal stakeholders, including product development, operations, and senior management, to integrate conduct risk considerations into the neobank’s strategic decisions and product offerings.
