KEY SKILLS

Responsibilities:

ROLE CONTEXT-

An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the ROI Risk & Compliance Team as a Regulatory Relationship Consultant. The successful candidate will support the Regulatory Relationship Team in meeting the requirements and expectations of the Regulators and address these in order to achieve the Group’s strategic business objectives. This role will be integral in coordinating activity in support of the regulatory relationships such as information requests and supporting meetings.

THE ROLE

  • Work closely with the individuals in the team to ensure timelines agreed with the regulator are appropriate and achievable.
  • Develop a strong understanding of each regulatory relationship so that you can help the business meet the CBI expectations.
  • Coordinating thematic reviews and deep dives from the CBI including information requests and interviews.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of regulatory developments, priorities within the Group and matters under discussion with both regulators to ensure engagement remains appropriate and consistent.
  • Liaise with the business to ensure Risk Mitigation Programmes (RMPs) issued by the CBI are completed and reported in a timely manner and that there is appropriate ownership and accountability documented for same.
  • Produce qualitative and quantitative MI to support the team to meet its reporting requirements to the different Boards and their Committees.
  • Provide support to the team in collecting information to support the collation of briefing packs for Board members and Executives who are required to meet the CBI.
  • Active management of the controls framework supporting the recording, logging and tracking of regulatory engagement.
  • Help coordinate the completion of activity associated with the CBI’s requirements to ensure deadlines are met and of an appropriate standard
  • Provide note taking support to matters under discussion with the regulators and produce high quality summaries for sharing with senior management in the business.
  • Liaise with colleagues to develop and enhance processes in the team for the collection and use of MI to better inform our interactions with the regulators
