Due to our growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Compliance & HR Manager to oversee all aspects of compliance and human resources. This senior and pivotal role will ensure adherence to legislative requirements while driving employee engagement, performance, and professional growth.
This is a rare opportunity to join a thriving, community-based organisation!
- Full-time salaried position.
- We’re also happy to consider part-time (4 days per week) for the right candidate.
- Salary negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
- Based in Ulladulla with 1 day minimum per week at Tomakin
Key Responsibilities
- Manage compliance with key legislation, including liquor licensing, gaming regulations, employment, WHS, and privacy laws.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
- Develop and implement policies, maintain payroll compliance, and manage workers’ compensation.
- Promote sustainability and business continuity across all operations.
- Provide expert advice to senior leadership on governance and compliance matters.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and HR practices (e.g., Fair Work Act, WHS Act, EBA’s, Awards, Liquor Act, AML/CTF).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
- A professional who can balance compliance and HR expertise with a positive and approachable demeanour.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in HR management, compliance oversight, and policy development.
- Relevant qualifications in HR, compliance, or a related field (desirable).
- Experience in the hospitality or club industries (desirable).
- A sense of fun, with the ability to bring positivity and energy to the workplace while maintaining professionalism.
