For our continued growth, we are looking for a Compliance Manager with experience in Financial Services to strengthen our team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and an advanced degree or certification.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in internal audit, compliance and risk management positions.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly relate across various cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Anti-Financial-Crime frameworks in financial institutions.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently with minor supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international regulations in the cryptocurrency sector, including KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti Money Laundering) and CTF (Combating the Financing of Terrorism)
- Performing risk assessments related to cryptocurrency activities and identifying potential risks for BitGo
- Maintain and improve internal compliance policies and procedures to ensure we keep pace with evolving regulations
- Monitor and evaluate changes to cryptocurrency laws and regulations and advise on necessary adjustments to comply with regulations
- Conduct regular controls and testing to assess the effectiveness of our compliance program
- Stay informed of new trends, technologies and best practices in cryptocurrency compliance
- Train and guide employees on compliance matters
- Act as liaison to regulators, respond to inquiries and facilitate required reporting
- Investigate and report suspicious activity or transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for cryptocurrency activities
