Description:

Data Protection Manager
Operating at a professional level, working independently on projects with limited advice and support. May line manage administrative or support staff.

Activities

  • Understand Mexican Data Protection and GDPR laws and how they apply to real-world business scenarios in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proactive in identifying risks to sensitive personal data collecting and managing in different projects like HR Employee databases, Patient Support Programs, Diagnostics Apps and Programs, A.I. Digital Tools, and implementing safeguards related to such initiatives.
  • Align Data privacy protection strategies with business objectives to drive trust and compliance.
  • Balance protecting personal data with enabling innovation and growth to achieve our bold ambition.
  • Know how to map data flows and conduct risk assessments to mitigate data privacy risks
  • Be Internal advocate for ethical data practices to protect employees, patients & Physicians sensitive data.
  • Coordinate the Execution of the First Line Monitoring Program over the higher risk complex process within the company.

Education Knowledge

  • Legal Knowledge/Bachelor Degree
  • Technical Insight
  • Project Managing from the perspective to maintain external/internal data privacy regulations.

Desirable Capabilities/Experience/Skills

  • Capable to understand the business and ask questions about anything and everything related to personal data processing.
  • Educator
  • Capable to Build strong relationships across teams to champion a culture of privacy awareness (Legal, HR, IT Digital, Marketing, Diagnostics and Medical Teams)
  • 5 years working in Pharma, Devices, Consumer or OTC industries, mainly transnational companies
  • Clear, effective communication style and interpersonal skills.
  • English Language Advance Level Required
