Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: BSc or MSc in Chemistry.
  • Experience: You have experience in the food or food packaging industry. It will be an advantage to have regulatory experience, experience with quality management and documentation, auditing experience, and preferably experience with polymers.
  • Language requirements: Proficient in English (business language). German is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Elopak is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Manager for our Closures division placed within the Packaging & Procurement (P&P) Quality department. This role is pivotal in managing the material change process for closures, ensuring food safety approvals, maintaining internal and external specifications, and supporting project management for new production lines. You will also be responsible for maintaining the database for all closures and supplier documentation, specifications, drawings, reports, and projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure food and product safety compliance of our closure products.
  • Create and manage documentation and specifications for our products.
  • Provide project support, coordination, and documentation for closure development projects.
  • Follow up on food safety requirements and customer questionnaires.
  • Qualify new raw materials and additives.
  • Build and maintain a strong network internally and with external partners.
  • Coordinate and document processes in a structured manner.
  • Handle documentation for quality and food safety.
  • Ensure suppliers follow food contact regulations and requirements.
