Job Description

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for a self-starter who has a “can do” attitude and enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. As an ideal candidate you seek a job in a fast paced multicultural environment and possess the following profile:

  • 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline (Law, Business etc.) is essential.
  • Professional qualifications are desirable.
  • 5+ years prior experience working in a Compliance function, ideally in (re)insurance.
  • Conversant in European/UK (re)insurance prudential regulation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as demonstrating your social competence and assertiveness is essential.
  • Stakeholder management is essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team to build strong relationships with colleagues.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day compliance function operational activities and the delivery of regulatory projects.

This role will require you to:

  • Co-ordinate the annual regulatory risk assessment.
  • Work closely with the European Head of Compliance to execute the annual Compliance Plan.
  • Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc compliance reports for Board and sub-Committee meetings.
  • Support the day-to-day European Compliance operations as required.
  • Participate in regulatory projects as required.
