Job Description
ABOUT YOU:
We are looking for a self-starter who has a “can do” attitude and enjoys collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. As an ideal candidate you seek a job in a fast paced multicultural environment and possess the following profile:
- 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline (Law, Business etc.) is essential.
- Professional qualifications are desirable.
- 5+ years prior experience working in a Compliance function, ideally in (re)insurance.
- Conversant in European/UK (re)insurance prudential regulation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as demonstrating your social competence and assertiveness is essential.
- Stakeholder management is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team to build strong relationships with colleagues.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day compliance function operational activities and the delivery of regulatory projects.
This role will require you to:
- Co-ordinate the annual regulatory risk assessment.
- Work closely with the European Head of Compliance to execute the annual Compliance Plan.
- Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc compliance reports for Board and sub-Committee meetings.
- Support the day-to-day European Compliance operations as required.
- Participate in regulatory projects as required.
