Description:

Goonvean Aggregates have an opportunity for a forward thinking and proactive Compliance Manager to join our aggregates business. You will ensure the business, employees and projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards and specifications, predominantly environmental and quality. The role requires the proactive use and management of in-house ERP system and ensuring all compliance tasks are completed utilising this system where possible. Duties include;

· * Audit, review and disseminate SHEQ policies, procedures and standards ensuring company operates within current regulations

  • Overseeing environmental management system, reporting on waste management, COSHH and compliance registers
  • Managing sustainability programme including carbon reporting, renewables, continual improvement and action planning
  • Ensuring quality system is managed effectively working with other departments in the business
  • Communicate confidentially with employees and addresses any concerns they have about compliance or ethical matters within a department
  • Examine and improve auditing processes to ensure the highest standards are being met using the ERP system
  • Strive not only to meet compliance standards, but also to exceed them
  • Document process flows throughout the business
  • Oversee implementation and concntinduct internal inspections and communication across the business
  • Liaise with relevant departments to review, upload, and maintain records of compliance practices
  • Visit operational sites to ensure that agreed procedures are being implemented
  • Manage the business training plan and matrix, working with other business departments
  • Complete required compliance documentation with relevant external bodies
  • Liaising with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements
  • Disseminate training and compliance materials, sharing best practice throughout the business

  • Compliance management: 3 years (preferred)
