Compliance Manager

The objective of this role is to be responsible for the monitoring of regulatory issuances and ensures these are properly and timely cascaded to the concerned departments within the organization. The incumbent shall also assist the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in the conduct of compliance risk assessment and mitigation and monitoring.

• Assists the CCO in the evaluation, review and updating of the Company’s compliance framework.
• Works with various business units in relation to the Company-wide implementation of the compliance framework.
• Monitors the issuance of applicable laws and regulations issued by the relevant government and regulatory agencies and circulates these to the appropriate business units.
• Provides opinion and advice to the different business units on compliance matters relevant to their process.
• Assesses the suitability of policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Ensures an environment of compliance awareness on a Company-wide scale.Develops and maintains a database to track and monitor all regulatory issuances
