Description:
SUMMARY
The primary role of the Compliance Manager is the responsibility for the management and project assistance of all compliance requirements. This position also acts as a resource for Kittitas Interactive Management to ensure that compliance efforts throughout the agency are met. The Compliance Manager will develop and maintain compliance policies and perform and/or assign compliance self-assessments in conjunction with compliance program findings, he/she will provide support and guidance on the changing and emerging regulatory environment to ensure effective organization-wide internal controls are in place.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree desired, but not required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of organization experience. Prefer 1-2 years in coordination of multidepartment projects. (preferred)

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with and assist departments with investigating and resolving compliance issues identified after self-assessments, audits or examinations have been completed.
- Manage and administer the compliance program, to include Implementation of the company software, performing in-depth compliance reviews where regulatory issues arise, and working with area managers to mitigate and or remediate compliance risks.
- Recommend policy and standards for compliance across all departments. Submit compliance enhancement recommendations to department managers and/or the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) for consideration as needed.
- Perform internal audits on different internal processes to strengthen compliance and consistency throughout the agency. Alerts agency of potential deviations, regulations, non-conformances and other non-compliance activities encountered during audits and assessments.
- Provides support for client development or other initiatives that require compliance support or expertise.
- In collaboration with the Quality Team assign and/or respond to compliance audits and examinations, including the review or submission of all compliance related remediation responses back to auditors and / or examiners for any findings.
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality when dealing with client matters relative to organizational functions. Treat client information carefully and confidentially maintaining privacy and security always. Be honest with all KIM parties, providing them clear, complete, and factual information.
