Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • management of the Compliance department (capacity and resource planning, task assignment, ensuring professional quality);
  • performance of all tasks related to the Compliance Officer position included in the Hungarian Insurance Act;
  • preparing an annual compliance plan, based on which the compliance risk analyses and assessments and other tasks are carried out;
  • fulfilment of the reporting obligations defined in the compliance regulations;
  • monitoring the fulfilment of measures taken to mitigate compliance risks;
  • carrying out compliance risk analyses, compliance risk assessments;
  • training of employees on compliance related issues;
  • investigating fraud and cases of misconduct, management of whistleblowing reports;
  • giving legal advice on compliance-related issues;
  • maintaining the internal policy management system of the company.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Legal degree;
  • At least five-years experience in compliance or as an in-house legal counsel at an insurance or other financial/Big4 company;
  • Highly proficient in both written and spoken English;
  • Precision in your daily work;
  • Structured thinking and pro-active attitude.
