AmTrust International are currently looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team based out of our Dublin office..
This key role as part of the compliance team is to act as the second line of defence in the Amtrust International system of Governance Framework, providing advice and guidance to accountable business owners in order to mitigate risks, provide assurance to the AIU board and promoting ethical behaviour across the organisation.
Essential functions of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in mitigating regulatory risk by providing effective compliance advice, driving knowledge sharing and the dissemination of consistent best practice standards
- Support and contribute to regulatory compliance risk remediation programmes arising from outcomes of horizon scanning and monitoring as key drivers.
- Support the Head of Compliance to provide relevant stakeholders with regular reports assessing the status of compliance risk, and recommendations to promote effective compliance systems and controls.
- Participate, as required, in tracking and assessing emerging regulation and guidance, including communication of requirements to relevant business functions.
Successful candidates will possess a strong compliance background with a particular focus on consumer protection as well as experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
The right candidate will have strong organisational skills, be detail oriented, a good working knowledge of MS office, be an effective communicator and consider yourself a people person, someone who thrives in an ever-changing environment and someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
