Description:
This is a Controlled Function role under Ireland’s Fitness and Probity Regime and is subject to enhanced pre-employment screening.
This is a hybrid position primarily based in Dublin. Responsibilities:
A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
As a compliance officer, you will assist with the preparation and execution of the annual Compliance Risk assessment and Plan, in line with instruction from the Head of Compliance.
The role also encompasses responsibility for identifying applicable laws & regulations, monitoring & implementing regulatory changes & continuously enforcing & enhancing best practices to ensure all business carried out is in accordance with all applicable legislation, regulations & guidelines.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Annual regulatory training plan
- Transactional compliance monitoring (monthly and quarterly)
- Thematic compliance monitoring
- Annual process and procedures review
- Assist the Head of Compliance with engagement with the CBI and maintain records of all engagement.
- Provide support to the Senior Compliance Officer and the Head of Compliance in drafting the monthly Risk and Compliance reports and quarterly compliance reports to the Regulatory Compliance Forum and the Board Audit Committee.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?
As a Compliance officer, you will be able to use your initiative, forward thinking, have good organisational and planning skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role in financial services sector.
- Professional Certificate in Compliance
- AML CFT, MAR, MiFID, CAR compliance experience
- Experience in compliance testing, results analysis, reporting findings to senior management
- Ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to use initiative
