Responsibilities:

The objective of the function of Compliance Officer is to proactively contribute to the monitoring of the Bank’s Compliance risk, as well as in the management of the relevant framework.

Primary focus:

  • Participate in the client onboarding process for PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) and High-Risk clients, conducting ex-ante reviews of files before presenting them to the relevant bodies;
  • Conduct regular reviews of client files based on AML (Anti-Money Laundering) risk, following a frequency determined by the level of risk.

Other tasks:

  • Assist colleagues in conducting thematic reviews, including process and regulatory practice reviews, accompanied by control testing, which includes assessing control activities within the first-line defence control unit ("L1 Segregated");
  • Contribute to the regular update of the compliance risk register and contribute to the evolution of the monitoring program;
  • Participate in the establishment and provision of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) as part of the compliance risk reporting system for the bank’s management and the Group;
  • Support the management of the Compliance function and contribute to the development of organizational measures, including managing or participating in projects for the implementation of new activities or control mechanisms, and organizing, monitoring, and updating internal procedures within the department.
