IMC is launching a new power and gas trading business in Århus, Denmark, the hub for power and gas trading in Europe. We are dedicated to creating a strong, independent, Århus-based team with local leadership while drawing on IMC’s more than 30 years of global trading expertise.
We are looking for experienced professionals in power and gas trading and technology to join the team.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong academic background
- 2+ years of professional experience in compliance at a power and/or gas trading firm in Europe, preferably at a proprietary trading desk
- Knowledge of relevant power trading rules and regulations, including of REMIT / REMIT II, EMIR, MAR and guidelines on electricity balancing. Familiarity with terms and conditions of key European TSOs and rulebooks of key European power trading exchanges is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to establishing a new power and gas trading business by addressing regulatory and compliance requirements
- Support onboarding with clearing banks, exchanges, TSO’s and other external parties
- Develop, implement, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures tailored to power and gas trading in the European markets
- Monitor, analyze, and resolve compliance alerts to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports in a timely and accurate manner
